The CI Compass FAIR Data Topical Working Group is conducting a survey to learn about the current practices and needs of Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR) data  implementations at Major Facilities. In addition to general practices, we are also interested in identifying any specific software and workflows being used to satisfy FAIR principles for data management.

The topical working group welcomes responses from anyone, especially data managers and software developers at National Science Foundation (NSF) Major Facilities. The Working Group is hoping that responses will provide insight into the current FAIR data practices and pain points at facilities.

The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and the deadline has been extended to close on March 20, 2023.

Access and complete the survey here: View Survey

Please share this survey with those who may be interested in participating.

Throughout its work, the FAIR Data Topical Working Group seeks to understand the current practices and needs of FAIR implementation by NSF Major Facilities, discuss current and emerging FAIR data practices and implementation, organize guest speakers regarding FAIR, and disseminate research regarding FAIR data practices and implementation. The working group holds an open, monthly meeting. To become involved, please email contact@ci-compass.org

In regards to questions about the study or problems encountered with the research, please contact Angela Murillo, at 317-278-6311 or apmurill@iu.edu.
