Abstract from Brian Lin: The OSG Fabric of Services provides a distributed high-throughput computing (dHTC) environment for researchers to further the cutting
edge of science. To better coordinate the deployment of these services, OSG staff have begun exploring different strategies for “DevOps”: deployment models with a tight integration between software development and IT operations teams to quickly deliver high quality updates. This talk will touch on these experiences with DevOps, ranging from lessons learned in Kubernetes container orchestration to the partnership between OSG operations and the HTCondor Software Suite developers via PATh.
